Because every city has a different phone number for the bus and transit systems. I suggest you search for the bus and train phone numbers in your city by looking them up on the following websites if you need to call them:

1) Google:
http://www.google.com

2) Yahoo!:

3) Search Hippo:

PLEASE NOTE:
If state officials, the police, or the media says it's too dangerous to travel outside- stay home if possible! Make sure you got what you need to survive (non-perishable foods, lots of bottled water, warm clothes, a fully charged cell phone with it's adapter, flashlight etc...). If you don't know what to do in an event of an emergency call 9-1-1, they will be happy to assist you. To help emergency services staff  get to you faster please have your address written beside your phone and be willing to share it with them upon their request.
